My dear readers I have an issue with which I need your assistance. I am not good at accessorizing!! I always feel like I could be spending my money on a great piece of apparel when I look at accessories and as a result I am sorely lacking in that department. I wish I could rock a beautifully outrageous pair of earrings like Karla or just pile it all on like Blair but when it comes down to it I opt for the basics: gold hoops, watch, wedding ring, and my favorite heart ring. So in an effort to step out of my comfort zone I decided to so something different.
If you have been visiting my blog for the past couple of weeks, you may have noticed that every Monday I have been showcasing some of my favorite blogs. One of my favorite things to do is find new blogs that leave me awestruck and inspired. The fact that I do this on Monday helps me get my mind right for the week and wanna step my game up.
Today is my Baby Girl's 3rd Birthday!!! She is the love of my life and I can't believe how beautiful she is growing up to be. Everything that I do I do for her! I hope one day she can look at me and see a beautiful, strong woman who went after her dreams and made it happen!

As I am looking out my window on this first day of Spring. I can't help but be excited about two of the most talked about trends for the season...Pastel and Peplum! How perfect would this outfit be for Easter!!!
Beautiful, simple, eye catching...this was my comment for today's Muse, Tanesha of Girl With Curves. When I look at her photos, I know she isn't trying. Her style is classic, elegant, and sweet. Her confidence does not come across as arrogance and I always wanna see what's next. I seriously have put her on my list of bloggers I would love to meet...
Good Morning Lovies!!! This weekend I found myself feeling as if some of the dreams I have are completely out of reach...then I realized how young I am and that I still have an amazing life ahead of me to do whatever I want!!! I just gotta work hard and make it happen!!!!
I caught the major high points of New York Fashion Week through most of my favorite blogs and magazines. Wishing I was there as I clicked, scrolled, and flipped through slide shows, NYFW photo diaries, and high gloss pages it just made me want to work harder and reach for September. Granted most of the photos I was looking over were from early 20 somethings who might have a significant other and dog, don't have a husband or child, and blogging is their full time job. When I thought about the differences in my circumstances and theirs I was overcome by a wave of discouragement. I mean how could I, with full time daughter, husband, job, and all the responsibilities that come with that, be successful in a world where the Carrie Bradshaw rules?
I must be honest...on a daily basis, as I am browsing the web, I have the same thought, "If I were single...." Please don't think that I don't love and cherish my family. Understand that I would happily stand in a hot furnace for Hubby and Naomi Sinclair, however there are things that seem more plausible if you are not committed to a family. Things like jet-setting to Brazil for photo shoots, moving to New York City to further your career, or working out 10 times a week to get that body you wish you had just don't fit in with the life of a wife/mommy. Sometimes the outlook of my blogging career or getting anywhere near Fashion Week seem out of the question.
For those of you who ever have the same thoughts, I present to you Strut: The Fashionable Mom Show.
I haven't come across any really wonderful blogs in quite some time. I have been sticking to my favs and not really exploring much. Clearly it has been at least 3 weeks since I was on Pinterest and today when I decided to browse some new Pins my eyes were drawn to the beautiful Asian women in the pretty prints with blue eye liner...
Isn't she amazingly wonderful (the exact words I used in a comment on her site)!!! Definitely a new favorite!
This weekend Hubby and I had the pleasure of attending a regional training event for an amazing company we have recently joined. It was amazing to see so many different people from all different backgrounds coming together with a like mind and mission. One of the speakers closed our session out with some motivational quotes that I will be sharing with you all in the coming weeks.
As a blogger, I am constantly viewing other blogs who are much more successful than mine and I wonder how the authors are able to gain such wide success in short periods of time. I am constantly banging my head against a wall thinking of ways to market myself as a blogger so that I can reach even a fraction of the heights some of my favorites have. Upon hearing this quote, I realized that I only need to focus on the passion I have for this platform From Jasmine With Love and continue sharing with you all the things that I love the most and the benefits will come when it is time.
I hope this helps anyone reading who feels like they are working hard and seeing no results. Continue to do what you love and the rewards will come. Have a beautiful week!
