A major goal of mine is to get a grasp on my eating habits. I have never been a cook and have yet to find an after work routine that includes dinner. I mean we eat dinner, but it is not a planned dinner. Usually, it is something left over from the weekend (when my husband cooks) or a bad decision from a fast food restaurant. So after a few consecutive days of eating junk, I have decided to stick to only fruits and vegetables for the rest of the week.
I still opted for the "fast" version and threw a bag of SteamFresh veggies in the microwave, but it felt good not eating anything that had a mother stuck between two pieces of bread.
Darlings, I have got to get a grasp on this thing. Not just for me, for my girls. My habits will become their habits, and I want them to be good ones.
Any tips, tricks, or techniques for a healthy diet in the midst of a hectic life?
